About Lisa!

Alesia L. Thompson, known as "Lisa", is an avid writer, creative, and lover of God!

Among passions, Lisa is the Founder and CEO of "A Widow's Honour, Inc. nonprofit. This organization was formed to acknowledge and honor phenomenal widows across the country. "Personally experiencing my mother go through the devastating loss of our Father gave me an inside look at the great need for support to widows following the loss of their spouse, even for an extended time thereafter. Life is NOT over after a great loss, but a process of grieving, healing, and ultimately winning! One of our goals is to help encourage one widow at a time not to give up on life, not to live a defeated and depressed life, but to take as much time that's needed to heal so you can HEAL, AND LIVE!"

An additional passion is working in financials. Lisa is also the CEO of Money Works, LLC, a financial education business that promotes, informs, and empowers individuals in financial principles. The core focus is on mindset first, and money second. We understand that literacy ALONE is not enough, but a change in how we look at, manage, and apply money knowledge is what we want to promote in order to provide financial success for individuals and generations to come.
